Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Entebbe for a scenic ninety-minute flight to Kihihi. Upon arrival, transfer through local villages and mountain roads to Buhoma Lodge. Settle into your elevated chalet and enjoy a multi-course dinner while gazing over the forest canopy.
Day 2: Rise with the birds for an early morning trek into the forest in search of Mountain Gorillas. Accompanied by expert guides and porters, navigate the steep terrain to spend a magical hour with these incredible creatures. Return to the lodge for a complimentary massage and evening relaxation.
Day 3: Spend the day at leisure. Optional activities include guided forest walks, visits to local communities, or exploring the Batwa pygmy village. Guests with additional permits may embark on a second gorilla trekking experience.
Day 4: Transfer back to Kihihi airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe, concluding your intimate safari adventure.

Gorilla permit rates are subject to change without notice based on pricing issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Prices are valid until June 2026, pending new rates for future travel. Price per person based on two people sharing, solo supplement will apply. Total baggage allowance is 15kg in soft bags. Flights are subject to availability and potential price increases beyond the operator's control. Yellow Fever inoculation is compulsory, and malaria prophylactics are recommended. Guests must be free of communicable diseases to participate in gorilla trekking. Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. All prices are subject to currency fluctuation. E&OE.
