Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon landing at Kigali International Airport, you will be greeted by your personal representative and transferred to the Kigali Serena Hotel. Settle into this five-star sanctuary before an evening of rest.
Days 2 to 3: Volcanoes National Park
After a morning city tour and a visit to the poignant Kigali Genocide Memorial, embark on a scenic three-hour drive to the gateway of Volcanoes National Park. Check into the intimate Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge. The following days are reserved for your gorilla trekking permit, offering a singular hour with the Mountain Gorilla family. Optional activities include trekking for Golden Monkeys or hiking to the grave of Dian Fossey.
Days 4 to 6: Akagera National Park
Depart for Akagera National Park, a six-hour journey through rolling hills. Arrive at the Wilderness Magashi Lodge, situated directly within the park overlooking Lake Rwanyakazinga. Spend three nights immersed in the savannah, enjoying guided game drives and boat cruises to witness the reintroduced Big Five and over 500 bird species.
Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your return flight, concluding a journey of discovery and luxury.
