Buhoma Lodge

Buhoma Lodge offers an intimate luxury retreat commanding uninterrupted views of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. As one of only two lodges within the park boundaries, it sits minutes from the gorilla tracking meeting point. Guests gather in the elevated lounge and dining area to share stories by the fire while enjoying spectacular forest vistas.

Ten individually designed chalets blend local materials with modern comfort. Each features a private veranda overlooking the canopy, spacious interiors, and well-appointed en-suite bathrooms with rain showers. Select accommodations include bathtubs and separate lounges with open fires.

The safari experience centres on the world-renowned mountain gorilla trekking. While sightings are never guaranteed, success rates exceed 90 percent. Guests spend one hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Treks range from two hours to a full day across steep, pathless terrain, requiring good fitness and preparation.
